Folding of fuzzy torus and fuzzy graphs

This paper is a continuation of El-Ghoul (1993). It introduces a new definition for the folding of fuzzy torus. It gives the concept of the connection between the folding of fuzzy graphs and the folding of fuzzy torus. Theorems governing this connection are established here.     

Vertical Cohomologies and Their Application to Completely Integrable Hamiltonian Systems

Some functorial and topological properties of vertical cohomologies and their application to completely integrable Hamiltonian systems are studied.     

数值离散化对环面分支结构的影响

Parameterized dynamical systems with a simple zero eigenvalue and a couple of purely imaginary eigenvalues are considered. It is proved that this type of eigen-structure leads to torus bifurcation under certain nondegenerate conditions. We show that the discrete systems, obtained by discretizing the ODEs using symmetric, eigen-structure preserving schemes, inherit the similar torus bifurcation properties. Predholm theory in Banach spaces is applied to obtain the global torus bifurcation. Our results complement those on the study of discretization effects of global bifurcation.     

Persistence of invariant torus in Hamiltonian systems with two-degree of freedom

In this paper with the KAM iteration we prove a KAM theorem for nearly integrable Hamiltonian systems with two degrees of freedom without any non-degeneracy condition.     

一种点熵的估计与计算

对紧度量空间X上的连续自映射f：X→X，Hurley利用一点逆像的(n，ε)，分离子集，引入了熵hp(f)和hm(f)。按照拓扑熵观点，它们也度量了系统(X，f)的复杂性，本文将以Nielsen根类理论为工具，首先给出hp(f)的一个恰当的下界估计；然后作为该结果的应用，我们具体计算了环面上一类自映射的熵hp(f)，同时得到了该空间上自映射同伦类熵的一个下界估计。     

Form-finding of a new kind of tensegrity tori using overlapping modules

In the past decades, the form-finding of tensegrity structures of regular geometric shapes, such as cylindrical tensegrities, polyhedral tensegrities, spherical tensegrities and so on, has been systematically studied. However, seldom studies on the form-finding of tensegrity tori have been reported. Considering the potential applications of the tensegrity tori in a number of fields, including architecture, sculpture, and other relevant fields, this paper carries out an exploration on a new kind of tensegrity tori. The topology of the new kind of tensegrity tori is based on the well-known cylindrical tensegrities and overlapping between every two adjacent tensegrity modules is allowed. Incorporating the singular value decomposition of equilibrium matrix with a force-finding algorithm, a general procedure for determining the feasible configurations for the new kind of tensegrity tori is proposed. Parametric analyses on several typical forms of the tensegrity tori are conducted and the feasible ranges of the design parameters and applicability of the feasible configurations are discussed.
